The senior national team of Ghana have been paired alongside in Egypt, Mozambique and Cape Verde in Group B of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations slated for next year.
Twenty-four (24) nations have been placed in six groups which houses four countries in each group for the draw held in Abidjan, Côte D'Ivoire this evening.
Ghana is making its 24th appearance at the continental competition and hoping to clinch its fifth title in Cote D'Ivoire after winning their last title in 1982.
Host nation, Cote D'Ivoire have been handed Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea Bissau while reigning champions Senegal will face Cameroon, Guinea and The Gambia in Group C.
Cote d'Ivoire will be hosting the biennial competition, which is scheduled to be held from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
