The Black Princesses of Ghana fought from behind to beat Tanzania by 2-1 at the Cape Coast Stadium in the second group game of the ongoing African Games.

On the 22nd minute, Tanzania surprisingly took the lead out of nothing leaving the hosts very stunned.

Just on the stroke of half time, Tracey Twum finally scored to get themselves back on level terms and that's how it finished 1-2 heading to the break.

In the second half, Ghana returned on a blistering note and took the game at their opponents firing from all cylinders in search of another goal.

On the 61st minute, Tracey Twum came so close to getting his brace but blasted wide her effort for a goal-kick.

Just three minutes later, Abdulai Mukarama found the back of the net in a stunning fashion to hand Ghana the lead for the first time in the game.

Tanzania nearly got the leveller but their chance was dealt with brilliantly by Afi Amenyeku.

It ended 2-1 for Ghana after full time to record their second win and are through to the semi final.
