Ghanaian midfielder Evelyn Badu has been shortlisted for the 2023 CAF Women’s Team of the Year award.
Thirty players will vie for the prestigious Player of the Year, a title claimed by Nigeria’s Asisat Oshoala for a record fifth time in the last Awards Gala in July 2022 in Rabat, Morocco.
Badu, currently playing for Norwegian side Avaldnes and formerly with Hasaacas Ladies, has been recognized by the continental football governing body for her outstanding performance in the year under review.
