Jojo Wollacott, goalkeeper of the Black Stars of Ghana is confident in his team's prowess in their 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The 27-year-old who has played a vital role in the West African powerhouse success has fully recovered from the injury he suffered which kept him out of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.
Ghana coach Chris Hughton has included Wollacott in his Black Stars squad for the first round of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
However, Wollacott has expressed his excitement as he makes a comeback to action ahead of their crucial 2026 World Cup qualifying game against Madagascar and Comoros.
"It feels very good to be back. I was struggling with injury, but I feel good and happy to be back," he said.
"We know what to expect, so we are taking these games very seriously, but I am sure we will get the victories," Wollacott added.
Ghana will clash with Madagascar on Friday at the Baba Yara Stadium. They will face Comoros in the second Group I game slated for Tuesday, November 21
