The evergreen wonderkid of Ghanaian parentage chalked the feat with the Old Gold following his cameo game time in the last round of fixtures in the English top-flight over the weekend
England-born Ghanaian prodigy Jerome Abbey has made history by becoming Wolverhampton Wanderers second-ever rising star to play in the Premier League on Sunday.
The 16-year-old midfielder achieved the magnificent feat when he was introduced into Wolves 1-1 away draw with Burnley at the Turf Moor after savouring 16th minute of game time as a second half substitute.
The Ghana-prospect talent made his Premier League debut with the Molineux Stadium campaigners at just 16 years and 250 days old by becoming the club's second-youngest player to reach the milestone having matched the record set by former player Jimmy Mullen in 1939 to etch his name into their history books.
Abbey took in 26 appearances by netting 2 and assisting 1 for Wolves across all competitions in the just concluded 2025/26 football season.

Given his glaring talent, the teenage sensation could become a future asset for the Ghana national football team at the senior level on the international stage despite featuring for the England U17 national youth team.
