South African international Percy Tau has won the inter-club footballer of the year at the 2023 CAF Awards in Morocco.
The Al Ahly attacker was honoured for his blistering performance on the African continent at this year's edition of the CAF Awards.
Tau played an instrumental role in Al Ahly record-title winning streak of the CAF Champions League after winning it for the 11th time last season.
He beat off competition from Mamelodi Sundowns centre-forward Peter Shalulile and Fiston Mayele of Pyramids FC to win the prestigious award.
Tau scored five goals and provided five assists in Al Ahly campaign in last season's CAF Champions League.
