Ghanaian referee Daniel Nii Laryea has been appointed as the center-referee for the crunchy game between host Morocco and Nigeria in the semi-final I of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 38-year-old is the only Ghanaian center-man who was selected for the big event and is now up for his third call-up at the continental showpiece.
His first game at the tournament was in the group phase between Algeria and Burkina Faso as the main referee before serving as head of VAR in the round of 16 clash between Cameroon and South Africa.
Laryea, due to his outstanding display so far has gotten the nod once again and this will be in charge of the highly anticipated semi-final which will definitely be a very big task but will hope live up to the height.
The game is slated for Wednesday, January 14, at the Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium at 20:00GMT.
