Henry Asante Twum, Communications Director for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), says it is possible for the Black Stars to win Friday's 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier clash against Angola.

Ghana will take on the Palancas Negras in their fifth game of the qualifiers, slated for Friday, November 18, at the Estádio 11 de Novembro.

The Black Stars currently man the third spot in Group F with two points from four matches.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, Asante Twum said they are now under tremendous pressure to get a positive result against the Angolans and salvage their chances of securing qualification.

"The Black Stars can also go to Angola and beat them just like how they came here to beat us," he said.

"It is possible, but at the end of the day, we also know it is not entirely in our hands, but we will continue to fight until the final game."

The Black Stars will return home after the match against Angola to wrap up their qualifiers against Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium on November 18.

To secure qualification, they would have to win their remaining matches and hope that Sudan loses its final games against Niger and Angola.
