Ghana painfully and astonishingly, will be missing out on the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time in 20 years but will still have to wrap up the qualifiers series against Niger on Monday, November 18, at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.

The Black Stars will have nothing to lose at this point as they stand no chance of qualifying but will at least set sights on a win to avoid a winless run in the entire campaign.

While the Ménas will also come all out with their arsenals to seek what will be a very crucial win and possibly help them secure qualification which is very possible

The first leg between both nations finished 1-1 at the Stade Municipal de Berkane two months ago - in a very exciting fixture where Oumar Sako's late equalizer cancelled out Alidu Seidu's early first half strike to split the points.

MATCH PREVIEW

Ghana are still winless so far and needed a win at all cost against leaders Angola last week in Luanda but once again played out a 1-1 draw which confirmed Ghana's inability to feature in the next AFCON.

Leicester City forward Jordan Ayew opened the scoring account in the game with a well-taken free kick inside eighteen minutes but Greek-based forward Zini came off the bench to draw the host back on level terms with twenty-four minutes to play.

On the opposition side, Niger recorded their first win and exhibited that in style with an emphatic 4-0 win over Sudan last Thursday at the Stade de Kégué in Lomé, Togo.

Despite playing at a neutral ground, the Oranges dominated every facet of the game to stage such a remarkable display, nipping on goals from Youssouf Oumarou, Ousseni Badamassi and a Daniel Sosah brace to earn the victory.

Following their winless run so far in the qualifiers campaign, the Black Stars are currently occupying the bottom spot in Group F with just three points after five matches, while Niger are on the third position with four.
