The Sudan senior men national team have safely touched down in Ghana ahead of their penultimate clash against the Black Stars in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Falcons of Jediane touched down on the early hours of today with some of their contingents led by their Ghanaian head James Kwesi Appiah.

The second-batch of the Sudan contingent are expected in the country by the close of the day before the team begin serious preparations for the game.

They are expected to hold series of training sessions from now till the matchday including mandatory sessions at the Ohene Gyan Stadium for quick acclimatization and others.

Sudan in the qualifiers so far, won 1-0 against Niger in their opening game before losing painfully by 2-1 against current group leaders Angola next and are now occupying the second spot in Group F with 3 points after two matches. 

The first leg is slated for 16:00GMT on Thursday, October 10, at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.
