It was definitely a very balanced game but the Ghanaians this time looked very resolute and well-organised especially in defense unlike the first game.
The four-time African champions opened the scoring account in the 15th minute courtesy Emmanuel Mensah who sumptuously finished off a beautiful pass from Jerry Afriyie by lobbying over the Senegalese goalie Mouhamed Sissokho
In the second half, both teams bounced back stronger and took the game at each other which eventually resulted into even exchanges at certain point
Ghana preserved their lead very well despite the champions coming in stronger at some point and picked all three points after full-time
The Black Satellites will face Central African Republic in their final group game on Thursday, May 8, 2025
