Ghana U20 coach, Desmond Ofei expressed his team's commitment to exert their maximum effort in their upcoming match against Central African Republic.



Ghana kicked off their campaign with a 1-1 draw against DR Congo, before they went ahead to beat defending champions Senegal.  



The Black Satellites will face Les Fauves in the final Group C match of the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.



Speaking after Ghana scooped a 1-0 win over the young Lions of Teranga, Ofei the team's dedication in ensuring they secure a spot in the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.



“Our main goal is to qualify for the World Cup. That’s the focus; each match and positive result take us a step closer, we will fight, prepare well and give our best (against Central African Republic),” Ofei stated.


The crunch decider leading to the road to the quarterfinals against Central African Republic is slated for Thursday, May 8, with kickoff at 15:00 GMT.
