Ghana U20 national team striker, Jerry Afriyie has disclosed that he is elated to return to the squad after being called back by his club CD Lugo.



The Spanish based striker left camp after playing in Ghana's two games against DR Congo and Senegal in the ongoing U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.



Afriyie jetted back to Spain briefly and scored in his side's 2-2 draw stalemate against Gimnastic.



However, he has finally made a return to the Black Satellites squad ahead of Monday, May 12, quarter-final clash against Egypt.


 
“It feels good to be back," Afriyie said. "The job isn’t done, and we all know what this next game means to us, to our fans, and to our country."



Both Ghana and Egypt are in pursuit of a win in the quarter-final of the continental competition to secure qualification to the FIFA U20 World Cup.



The decisive showdown between the Black Satellites and the Young Pharaohs will Kick off at 15:00 GMT at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia.
