Head coach of the Ghana U20 national team, Desmond Ofei says their U20 Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final match against Egypt will be played like a cup final.

The two nations are in pursuit of a win in the quarter-final of the continental competition to secure qualification to the FIFA U20 World Cup.

Speaking to pressmen in a pre-match interview, Ofei stated they will go all out against the host nation as they will treat it like a final.

“This is going to be like a final for us. It’s a qualifier to the World Cup, and that means everything. We are not just playing a nation; we are also playing against history,” Coach Ofei stated.

The expected showdown between the Black Satellites and the Young Pharaohs will come up on Monday, May 12, with Kick off scheduled for 15:00 GMT at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia.
