Black Satellites striker Abdul Hakim Sulemana voiced his frustration after Ghana succumbed to a defeat against Egypt in the quarterfinals of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana dished out a courageous performance but they went under the knife early as they conceded two goals, leaving them to fight from behind and draw 2-2 after 90 minutes.

However, as lamented by Abdul Hakim Sulemana –  luck wasn't on their side as the lost 5-4 to the Young Pharaohs.

“I think we came all out. It’s always hard when you are 2-0 down and then coming up. We gave all our hearts, and that’s where we wanted to get the win, but unfortunately, we didn’t have luck on our side. We tried our best, that’s what matters,” said Sulemana.

“The aim was to qualify for the World Cup, and after qualifying, we get to win the trophy, but unfortunately, of course, we are not happy. We are out at the quarterfinals. We are not happy at all.”

Following Ghana's elimination, Egypt will now neck it down with Morocco in the semi-finals on Thursday, May 15.
