'Les Sao' of Chad have touched down safely in Ghana's capital, Accra, ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Ghana having started their journey earlier this morning.
All invited 25 players made the trip alongside the technical team led by Tahir Zakaria Gardia and some other top officials of their football federation.
Their squad comprised of twenty-four (24) home-based players except goalkeeper Mbaynaïssem Jourdain who plies his trade with Tajikistani side CSK Dushanbe.
This is because of the withdrawal of key foreign-based quartet Amine Hiver, Ahmad Toure Ngouyamsa, Eric Mbangossoum and skipper Marius Mouandilmadji - who have all pulled out of the squad due to ill preparations and lack of professionalism from the country's football governing body.
Chad's early arrival signifies how series they are coming into the game as they look to acclimitize quickly to the weather condition, pitch and others before match-day.
The game is slated for this Friday, March 21, at the Ohene Gyan Stadium at 19:00GMT
