The Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams has put out a potent call to action, urging the Black Stars to secure maximum points in their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Chad and Madagascar.

Ghana facing a crucial moment in their qualification campaign, Adams has emphasised the importance of winning both matches to reawaken their hopes of reaching the global showpiece.

The Black Stars are set to face Chad's  Les Sao at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, followed by an away clash against Madagascar's Barea at the Mimoun Al Arsi Stadium in AI Hoceima, Morocco next Monday.

“I know we are winning. Let’s work together and understand each other. Football is teamwork as you already know. It’s not an individual game, it’s a team sport," Adams told the media.

"Let’s resurrect the spirit and it will reflect in the supporters. I know you can do it. There is no team better than you in Africa here. So there should be no reason why they should gather anywhere that we are not part of."
