The Black Stars of Ghana will kickoff the October international window with a crunchy 2026 World Cup qualifier against Central African Republic and the venue for the game has been changed by FIFA to a different venue but also in Morocco.

Initially, FIFA due to the unfit nature of all stadiums in CAR, decided to move the game to El Jadida but have now announced a different venue for game which is the Stade D’Honneur de Meknes, all in Morocco.

While it looks highly impossible for the While Beasts to secure qualification, Ghana need just three points from the remaining two matches to qualify to their fifth FIFA World Cup.

Central African Republic in the last international window suffered two loses, against Madagascar and Comoros and are currently sitting in fifth position with 5 points.

The Black Stars however, after an embarrassing draw at Chad, managed to beat Mali by 1-0 in Accra to keep and boost their qualification chances.

The game against Central African Republic is slated for October 10, 2025, and will return home to play Comoros in four days time to wrap up the qualifiers.
