According to exclusive reports, three key players of Chad have withdrawn from their squad ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Ghana and Comoros.
These players include Zesco United forward Amine Hiver, French-based winger Ahmad Toure Ngouyamsa and SuperSport United's Eric Mbangossoum.
The main reason why these players decided to pull out is due to ill preparations from their FA especially in a crunchy World Cup qualifiers like these
Also, it is due to the exit of head coach Kevin Nicaise which clearly wasn't explained to the players. Captain Marius Mouandilmadji has also backed off making it very difficult for the Chad FA to assemble players for the penultimate clash coming up.
This is really a very huge blow for 'Les Sao' who were very eager to securing their first win in the qualifiers in this international window to help turn things around but the latest development has now left them in a very difficult situation
The Black Stars on the other hand, will be hoping for another win to make it three on the trots and also enhance their qualification chances and also seek redemption following their appalling AFCON qualifiers campaign.
Ghana currently sit on the second spot with 9 points while Chad remain at the foot of Group I with no point.
