After linking up with the Gnaget in the summer of 2025, the nimble left-footed wideman is destined to leave the Swedish top-flight following the influx of interested suitors that have lined up for his signature ahead of the upcoming transfer window

Allsvenskan side AIK head of recruitment Miika Takkula has confirmed interest over the services of Nigerian teenage sensation Zadok Yohanna from many interested clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 18-year-old wonderkid is currently being courted by a host of leading European elite division suitors, with Premier League heavyweights Chelsea and Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax, all being credited with a move for his signature for the 2026-27 season.

However, with the growing speculation over the future of the Icon Allah FA youth star at the Stockholm-based club, the man in charge of recruitment at the Nationalarenan has said of the everlasting interest from suitors over their prized asset ahead of the upcoming window.

The former Finnish sporting director has told Swedish tabloid Expressen: ''It is clear that there is interest around him (Zadok Yohanna). But everyone has a very good mind set. Players and coaches. We just take it day by day, match by match and action by action. We focus on where we are and what we need to improve. We just follow the process.''

He added by remaining tight-lipped over the said interested suitors: ''Of course it's positive that there's this kind of interest in him. That clubs come to our matches. Reasonable clubs come to scout him. I can say that they are reasonable clubs. Of course, really good clubs.''

With his current running contract set to expire on December 31, 2029, those that have lined up for his services must be readying themselves to fork out a fee of around €500,000 if they are to land him in the summer as per his transfermarkt valuation.

Given his glaring talent, the Super Eagles technical handlers must keep an eye on his progress so as to ensure his smooth integration into the senior team at the international level in the nearest future.
