Ghanaian champions, Ampem Darkoa Ladies, have been placed in Group B alongside AS FAR Club from Morocco, AS Mande from Mali, and Huracanes FC from Equatorial Guinea for the upcoming CAF TotalEnergies Africa Women’s Champions League.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies earned their spot in the competition by winning the WAFU Zone B, securing a 1-0 victory against Nigerian club Delta Queens in the final.
Their campaign will kick off with a match against defending champions AS FAR from Morocco, followed by fixtures against AS Mande and Huracanes FC.
In Group A, the host team, Atheletico FC from Ivory Coast, will face Sporting Casablanca from Egypt, previous champions Mamelodi Sundown Ladies from South Africa, and JKT Queens from Tanzania.
The CAF Women’s Champions League Final is scheduled to take place in Cote d’Ivoire from November 5th to November 19th, 2023.
