Ahead of the 13th African Games Men's Football Competition in Accra 2023, Head Coach Desmond Ofei has announced the 20-man squad tasked with representing Ghana on the international stage.
Leading the team is centre-back Asamoah Kuffour, who assumes the role of captain for the National U20 side throughout the tournament. The competition is scheduled to take place in Accra from March 8 to March 23, 2024.
Comprising the squad are three goalkeepers, six defenders, five midfielders, three wingers, and three strikers, providing a balanced mix of talent across all positions.
Ghana's journey in the tournament begins on Friday, March 8, 2024, with a match against Congo. Subsequently, they will face Gambia in their second Group A encounter on March 12, 2024, followed by a showdown against Benin in the final group stage match on March 15, 2024.
All three group matches are slated to be held at the Accra Sports Stadium, offering an exciting opportunity for the team to showcase their prowess on home soil.
