The Black Sharks were at their brilliant best at the Stade de Agora in Abidjan, posting a huge 10-5 aggregate win over Côte d'Ivoire.
On Saturday in Abidjan, coach Daniel Neequaye Kotey's men managed a 5-2 away victory against Lohognon Soro's men.
More-fancied Ivorian side started the match superbly, firing from all cylinders which paid off as they notched two goals to shoot themselves into the lead, but Ghana fought back impressively.
Substitute goalkeeper Robert Nyadedzor scored the opener for Ghana with a long-range effort, before Wise Nyamadi struck home the leveller. Skipper Richard Martei Osai put Ghana ahead, and second-half goals from Precious Torgbor and Jude Asante Aklie sealed the victory for the West Africa's beach soccer giants.
Fast forward, coach Daniel Neequaye Kotey has praised his tight-knit players for their outstanding performance against the Ivorians, after the second leg in Abidjan.
"I'm incredibly proud of the team. They showed great character to come back from behind and qualify for the AFCON."
Ghana will now participate in the tournament, which has been slated to come off in Egypt later this year.
