Former Black Stars head coach, Charles Kwabla Akonnor says he is considering taking up technical director duties instead of the coaching role to impyhos understanding of the game.
C.K Akonnor was shown the exit in 2021 after a series of poor performances which seemed to jeopardise the Black World Cup chances.
Serbian trainer Milovan Rajevac replaced him but was also sacked after exiting the AFCON 2021 from the group stages January this year.
C.K Akonnor is yet to land another coaching job after his Black Stars dismissal.
The former Asante Kotoko gaffer has revealed his intentions to move into the technical department of the game instead of the main coaching role.
“I can’t say for now,” C.K told Joy Prime.
“I am still a coach and I am working on improving my skills, but I still want to get more knowledge about the game.
"Now, I am looking at doing the Technical Director thing, in terms of improving, scouting and all those things, not necessarily the coaching aspect, but I want to improve more and be better,” he noted.
