Bibiani Gold Stars kick off their maiden CAF Champions League campaign this Saturday when they take on Algerian giants JS Kabylie at the Accra Sports Stadium, with Kick-off at 3pm GMT.
The Miners, who were crowned Ghana Premier League champions last season, are relishing their first taste of continental football.
However, Gold Stars has called on their fans in Accra to turn out in their full club attire as the team looks to make a statement in their first continental outing.
“Come out and support the Miners this Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium as we make our CAF Champions League debut!” the club urged on social media.
Kabylie, one of Africa’s most experienced clubs, bring pedigree and know-how, having made deep runs in CAF competitions for decades. The Algerians travel confident of grabbing a result to take back to North Africa for the return leg.
