Medeama midfielder Theophilus Anoba, a veteran player, has expressed confidence in the team’s preparation for their upcoming CAF Champions League match against CR Belouizdad.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday, December 1, 2023.
In their first game of the competition, Medeama suffered a 3-0 defeat against Egyptian giants Al Ahly. However, they managed to hold off the opposition for over an hour without conceding in Cairo.
During the pre-match press conference, Anoba assured fans that they would witness a different Medeama on Friday.
He stated, “I believe we are well-prepared. This is what we were born to do, and it presents a significant opportunity for all of us. I guarantee that tomorrow, everyone will witness a transformed Medeama, unlike what was seen in Egypt.”
With their sights set on reaching the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League, Medeama must secure a victory to get their campaign back on track after the initial setback.
