Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama Sporting Club, made a courtesy visit to the Manhyia Palace to pay their respects to the esteemed Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on Wednesday.

This visit is part of the Yellow and Mauves' preparations for their upcoming 2023/24 CAF Champions League match against Algerian side CR Belouizdad.

The crucial game is scheduled to take place on Friday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, marking Medeama's second Group D fixture in their inaugural campaign in Africa's premier club competition.

"Medeama SC is honored to extend a courtesy visit to Manhyia Palace, paying respects to the esteemed Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. This visit precedes our crucial CAF competitions this Friday at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi," the club shared on social media.

In their first group game, Medeama faced a challenging 3-0 defeat against Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League. Despite a resilient defensive performance in the first half, they conceded the opening goal after 65 minutes.
