Raja Club Athletic walk their way into the group phase of the CAF Champions League with a 2-0 (4-2 on aggregate) win over Ghanaian champions FC Samartex at the Larbi Zaoulis Stadium in the final qualifying round.

The first leg last week in Accra produced four goals in a stunning 2-2 draw leaving it very open heading into the return encounter.

Nurudeen Amadu as usual had goalkeeper Kofi Baah in goal. Isaac Afful, James Sewornu, Lord Adabo, Emmanuel Mamah, Michael Ephson, all made the cut and more.

The Ghanaian champions looked very off in the early stages with the home team taking the game under their total control in terms of possession and dominance.

On the stroke of half time, Marouane Zila found the back of the net for Raja Casablanca to give them the edge in the tie. Just what they had been fighting for since the blast of the referee's whistle.

Back from recess, the Green Eagles retuned as usual instilled their dominance on the game but were very much careful in defense despite doing more of the attacks.

FC Samartex were really struggling to create opportunities and focused much on keeping their backline very intact in order to avoid conceding more.

With just a minute to full time, Naoufel Zerhouni doubled the lead and wrapped up a precious 2-0 win for Raja Club Athletic who have now advanced to the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
