Medeama SC have safely landed in Nigeria, Ogun State specifically ahead of their second leg tie against Remo Stars FC in the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

The first leg was honoured in Cape Coast last week and it was the Ghanaian champions who emerged victors with a narrow 1-0 win, thanks to Jonathan Sowah's 24th minute strike.

The team left the shores of Ghana on the early hours of today and have finally touched down safely for the game, and are currently at their lodge relaxing for the epic clash coming up

They are expected to train on the match venue in Ikenne as made mandatory by CAF for quick acclimatization in order to get themselves adequately prepared and poised for action tomorrow.

Evans Adortey's men are to just avoid a defeat in Nigeria to secure qualification in the next stage of the prelims where they will face Guinean giants Horoya A.C.

The game will come off on Sunday, August 27, at Remo Stars Stadium at exactly 16:00GMT.
