Nigerian outfit Remo Stars FC head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede Precious says, they weren't lucky in the first leg against Medeama SC last week in Cape Coast.

The Sky Blue Stars painfully lost narrowly by 1-0 to the Mauves and Yellows who nipped on Jonathan Sowah's 24th minute strike to record such a precious win.

They didn't start really well and were left chasing only shadows in the opening fifteen minutes but picked up their pieces subsequently and gave Medeama SC a very good run for their money but couldn't find the back of the net.

In a pre-match presser, the experienced tactician stated their aim was to earn a draw but weren't lucky and will fight really hard to secure a favourable results which could send them in the next round of qualifiers.

"We were not happy leaving Ghana with a lost, we were very unlucky on that day. Like I said earlier, we played a team that are the champions of Ghana. A private-owned club, same West African region and for me they are delight to watch."

"They were so determined to get what they wanted and to some extent they did, at least winning and in football it was not the best result for us."

"The least we could have done was leave with a draw. They had a good start especially in the first 15 minutes but we found our feet after 15 minutes", he concluded

The match is slated for 1500GMT at the Remo Stars Stadium on Sunday, August 27, 2023.
