The reverse fixture of the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round game between FC Kallon of Sierra Leone and Dreams FC has been moved to Liberia by the Confederation of African Football (CAF)
Sierra Leone side FC Kallon have announced that the all-important game against Ghana's sole representative in this year's CAF Confederation Cup will be played at the Samuel Kayon Doe (SKD) stadium in Liberia.
The second leg tie of the final qualifying round of the competition was initially scheduled to be played at the South Arena, Bo in Sierra Leone but has now been moved to the 22,000 capacity edifice in Paynesville, Liberia, a suburb of the country's capital, Monrovia.
According to CAF, the match has been moved away from Sierra Leone due to the failure of the Southern Arena Stadium to meet the requirements for hosting such high-profile matches organized by the football governing body.
Dreams FC have to avoid a defeat in the second leg scheduled for Saturday, September 30, 2023 after recording a 2-1 victory over FC Kallon in the first leg fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium last week.
