The Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) will meet on 29 March for urgent talks on key issues affecting the running of the game on the continent.
The meeting will be chaired by CAF President Patrice Motsepe and is expected to address recent decisions by the organisation’s Appeal Committee, which have attracted significant attention across African football.
Committee members are set to review those rulings and discuss what steps should be taken next.
Another important issue on the agenda is the vacant role of CAF Secretary General. The position became open after Veron Omba Mosengo stepped aside due to age-related reasons.
CAF is expected to use the meeting to provide clarity on both administrative and legal matters, as it looks to strengthen its leadership structure and improve how decisions are made.
