The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will bring together key figures in world and African football for a two-day Strategy Conference on Sal Island in Cabo Verde from October 7 to 9, 2026.
CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe and FIFA President Gianni Infantino are expected to attend the gathering alongside presidents of all 54 CAF Member Associations and national team coaches from across the continent.
The conference will provide a platform for African football leaders to discuss the development of the game and outline priorities for the coming years.
Key issues on the agenda include the 2026 FIFA World Cup, CAF competitions and the future direction of African football.
The meeting comes as African football continues to prepare for the global tournament, with discussions expected to cover matters relating to the continent’s participation and the wider development of its competitions.
The conference is scheduled to take place over two days, from October 7 to 9, on Sal Island, Cabo Verde, with the participation of football administrators and coaches from across Africa.
