Kwara United manager Tunde Sanni has fired Asante Kotoko warning by stating that his side ''are going to survive'' in their Caf Confederation Cup encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Ghanaian heavyweights are set to host their Nigerian counterparts for the first-leg tie of the continental second-tier inter-club contest for the preliminary stage in Ghana. However, the man in charge of the Kwara State Stadium is bouyant he and his troops will pull a surprise over the result of the game as they look forward to replicating their performance against their top-flight rivals over the weekend.
The Nigerian tactician said as quoted by Africa Top Sports: ''I believe Asante Kotoko couldn’t have done better than this against Warri Wolves. You see, if we can survive like this, I’m sure we’re going to survive in Ghana. They cannot play better than we played today. We had a lot of pressure, but since we’ve survived it, we’re very sure we are going to survive in Ghana.''
