Dr. Richard Nsenkyire, President of FC Samartex, has expressed his team's unwavering determination to achieve a historic qualification against Raja Casablanca in the CAF Champions League.
The Ghanaian side will face Raja in the return leg of the second round of the preliminary qualifiers at Stade Larbi Zaouli.
Having drawn 2-2 in the first leg at Accra Sports Stadium, Dr. Nsenkyire emphasized the team's commitment to winning and advancing to the group phase of Africa's elite club competition.
"We came here to win and secure qualification to the group stage," he stated in an interview with Asempa FM. "It is just a game that we have to go and win."
He further highlighted the players' eagerness to create history for both themselves and the club, assuring fans that their determination will make Ghanaians proud.
FC Samartex will conduct their final training session today ahead of the crucial match scheduled for Saturday, September 21, with kick-off set for 19:00 GMT. The Timber Giants aim to make a mark in their maiden participation in the CAF Champions League.
