Ghana's sole representative in the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup, Dreams FC have landed in Accra after securing a historic qualification to the group stage of the competition.
Dreams FC booked themselves a ticket to the group stage of this season's CAF Confederation Cup after a 1-1 away draw with FC Kallon of Sierra Leone on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
The ‘Still Believe’ lads ended the five-year Confederation Cup group stage qualification jinx of Ghanaian clubs after recording a 3-2 aggregate over their Sierra Leone counterparts.
Dreams FC will know their opponents at the group stage of the competition on October, 6, 2023.
The draw for the group stage will be held on 6 October 2023 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The 16 winners of the second round of qualifying rounds will be drawn into four groups of four.
Dreams FC will also be earning $400,000 for securing qualification to the Confederation Cup group stage qualification from the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
