Singida United winger, Enock Atta Adjei- and former Medeama SC conjurer, sees lots of quality in the current squad and believes is enough to send them to the semi final in their maiden CAF Champions League appearance.

The Mauves and Yellows are up this weekend, and will be playing in the CAF Champions League for the first time ever when they play as guests to grand masters Al Ahly at the Al Salam Stadium on Saturday evening.

This is a crucial Group B encounter with the Ghanaian champions also paired alongside clubs like Algeria's CR Belouizdad and Young Africans from Tanzania in the same group.

The two-time Ghana FA Cup champions have already touched down in Cairo hoping to have themselves adequately prepared for the epic showdown coming up.

The mercurial wideman has acknowledged his former side and is hopeful they have what it takes to make it into the last four.

“Looking at the Medeama playing body, the advice I can give them is to work extra hard,” he said.

“This is because they have very good players and have all the qualities to qualify to the quarter-final or semi-final. Medeama is very good,” he added.

Enock Atta Adjei played for Medeama SC and was part of their 2015 FA Cup winning team and also an integral member when they played in the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup in 2016.

He joined Tanzanian side for Azam FC and spent three years before switching to Guinean giants Horoya AC.
