Ghanaian midfielder Enock Morrison a calf injury after being involved in a road accident on his way to training in the East African country.
His club, Gor Mahia FC announced the news on Tuesday confirming that former Asante Kotoko player was hospitalized following the accident.
The 25-year-old escaped serious injuries and he is expected to continue medical follow-ups before returning to full training as they prepare for the Mashemeji Derby against AFC Leopards.
According to the club’s official statement, Morrison has been discharged from the hospital and he was able to walk without difficulty.

The latest incident follows a similar accident involving four Gor Mahia players, including Austine Odhiambo and Fidel Origa, on November 29.
All four received treatment for minor injuries and were discharged the same day, raising concerns over player safety during travel.
The medical team of Gor Mahia are highly optimistic about Morrison’s quick recovery for the all-important derby against AFC Leopards this weekend.
