Tactically experienced Ghanaian coach, Frimpong Manso has advised head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, to direct his attention from qualifying for the 2025 AFCON, rather than concentrate on securing a spot in the FIFA World Cup.
The Bibiani Gold Stars head coach' comments came after the Black Stars found themselves missing out on the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament after a bleak run of results, so far, in their qualifying campaign.
Ghana are napping in third position in Group F after four rounds of matches with their ticket to the continental showpiece hanging by a thread.
“We should forget about AFCON and instead focus on World Cup qualification,” Manso told Akoma FM.
