Black Stars are set to receive a $700,000 consolation prize after finishing third in Group B of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Despite falling short of knockout qualification, their performance secured a share of the $34.6 million prize money for the tournament.
The breakdown reveals that the six teams finishing at the bottom of their groups will each receive $500,000, while the eight teams exiting at the round of 16 will be awarded $800,000 each.
The winner of the competition is set to claim $7 million, with the final scheduled for Sunday, February 11, 2024.
