Ghana will play their second friendly game in the final international break of the 2023/24 season against Uganda on Tuesday afternoon at the Stade de Marrakech in Morocco.

Whiles Ghana are surprisingly winless in their last five matches, Uganda have two wins and three loses and both sides definitely will head into this game seeking nothing but redemption.

The Black Stars first game was against sworn rivals Nigeria last Friday at the same venue- in a pulsating clash they lost by 2-1 after full time.

Scottish-based striker Cyriel Dessers and Ademola Lookman got the two goals for the Super Eagles whereas Jordan Ayew got the consolation in the dying embers from the spot.

On the other hand, the Cranes were also demolished by 4-0 against Comoros and are definitely hoping to exhibit an improved performance this time around.

HEAD TO HEAD

Uganda are one of the countries that have been a pain in the neck to Ghana for the past years with both nations having a win each in their last five games, with the other three, all ending in a draw.

Ghana's last win was at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations where Andre Ayew's penalty made the difference and handed Ghana all three points in the group phase.

Whiles Uganda's last win was in November 2014 when they nipped on Savio Kabugo's early lead to stun Ghana in Kampala in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

TEAM NEWS

Both teams recorded no any injury concerns from their last matches.

With Ghana, coach Otto Addo despite some missing key players, is still expected to rotate his squad as he hopes to hand everyone the opportunity to showcase what they have got.
