Ghana stars Jordan Ayew have arrived at Kumasi as the team intensifies preparations for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ayew, who plies his trade for Premier League side Crystal Palace touched down in Ghana on Wednesday after featuring in Palace's 3-1 win over Brentford over the weekend.
South African based Richard Ofori has also made the squad. The Orlando Pirates goalkeeper trained with the team on Wednesday as the four-time African champions hope to end their 42-year trophy drought.
The Black Stars will face Namibia in a pre-AFCON friendly on Monday, January 8th before jetting out to Abidjan two days later.
Ghana, who have been paired in Group B will kick off their Nations Cup campaign against Cape Verde on Sunday, January 14 at the Stade Félix Houphouët Boigny.
