Midfielder Walid Fuseini, nicknamed "Neymar" will feature in the CAF Confederation Cup for a second successive season, but this time in the colours of Asante Kotoko.
The 25-year-old, who featured for Nsoatreman FC in last season’s Confederation Cup before sealing a move to the Porcupine Warriors ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League, is tipped to walk straight into Karim Zito’s matchday squad and stake a claim for a starting berth.
Neymar is expected to bring energy and fresh fire in midfield as Kotoko host Nigerian side Kwara United in the preliminary round first leg on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium, with the game set to start at 15:00 GMT.
The Porcupine Warriors are aiming to reach the group stages for the first time since 2008.
