Asante Kotoko are counting on the form and firepower of Albert Amoah as they prepare to host Nigeria’s Kwara United in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors confirmed their leading forward will be available for the match at the Accra Sports Stadium, a welcome boost after the 24-year-old’s return from a minor knock.
Amoah, who has scored 16 goals in 30 competitive appearances, is expected to lead Kotoko’s attack as they aim to establish a first-leg advantage.
Kotoko, however, will be without Kwame Opoku, who's sidelined through injury following their Ghana Premier League meeting with Berekum Chelsea.
Opoku's absence leaves added responsibility on Amoah, whose razor-sharp runs and killer instinct now spearhead Kotoko’s game plan.
