Sudan head coach Kwesi Appiah has stated that his immediate priority is to lead his side to secure qualification for the 2026 World Cup.



Appiah, a former gaffer of the Black Stars has been at the helm of the Sudanese national team for one year - having been appointed in September 2023.



Sudan - under Appiah's tutelage has been a force to reckon with, as they Boss top of Group B with ten points after round of games.



The Falcons of Jediane have annexed three wins and drawn one in the ongoing qualifying campaign.



"My top most priority is to qualify Sudan for the 2026 World Cup," Appiah told Asempa FM.



"Sudan has not been there before but I am hoping God uses me as a medium to achieve that."
