The teenage sensation forward of Nigerian heritage has appended his signature to fresh terms over extension with the Blues, with his new deal set to take him through to 2029 at the Stamford Bridge
Premier League giants Chelsea have announced a three-year contract extension with London-born Nigerian teenager Chizaram Ezenwata.

The 18-year-old promising centre-forward, who linked up with the West London titans football academy system at age 13, has progressed magnificently to the Chelsea U21 youth ranks this term given his dazzling talent as an upcoming and younger player.
Announcing the contract extension of their academy graduate, those managing the administrative affairs of the Stamford Bridge outfit, have said in an excerpt of a statement via the club's official website: ''Chelsea Football Club is pleased to announce that Cobham Next Gen forward Chizaram Ezenwata has signed a new contract, keeping him at the club until at least June 2029.
''Ezenwata joined Chelsea during his Under-15 year and quickly made an impression with his constant threat in attacking areas. He has been developed through the age groups of the Chelsea Academy, with his sharp footwork and clinical finishing among the standout features.''

Ezenwata has so far netted 7 goals and assisted 3 in 10 appearances across all competitions for both the Chelsea U18 & U21 youth teams in this current 2026-27 campaign.
Given his glaring potential as a budding star, the London-born native goal poacher could become a future asset for the Nigeria national football team provided the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) put in much efforts to secure his international allegiances from England to Nigeria by playing for the Super Eagles at the senior level.
