Manchester United are said to have entered into talks with the representatives of Nigerian-Austrian teenager Oghenetejiri Kenneth Adejenughure about a move to Old Trafford this summer.

The 17-year-old is under contract with Red Bull Salzburg, although he has yet to make an appearance for the Austrian club’s first team.

Adejenughure did, however, score 16 goals in 20 matches for Red Bull Under-18s last season, and he has eight goals in 12 appearances for the Austria Under-17s.

A number of clubs, including AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund, are closely keeping tabs on the forward, but The Express reports that Manchester United is also quite interested.

According to the report, the Red Devils have met with the teenager’s advisors to discuss the potential of joining the 20-time English champions.

The exciting kid, who is also eligible to represent Nigeria, is reportedly close to receiving a senior call-up to Austria, as the 2024/25 season is expected to be a breakthrough season for the in-demand forward.
