Ghana's U17 women's national team, the Black Maidens, have booked their place in the final of the 2024 WAFU Zone B U17 Girls Cup following a dominant 5-0 victory over Ivory Coast in the semi-finals.
The match, held on Thursday afternoon at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, showcased the Black Maidens' attacking firepower and their determination to secure the inaugural title.
From the outset, Ghana controlled the game, with standout forward Christiana Ashiaku making her mark early. She opened the scoring just 14 minutes into the match, setting the stage for a one-sided encounter.
