The Black Queens of Ghana have secured their place in the next round of the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers, delivering an emphatic 5-0 victory over Rwanda in the second leg of the competition.

Midfield maestro Alice Kusi was the star of the show, registering a remarkable hat-trick, while Evelyn Badu also contributed to Ghana's commanding 12-0 aggregate scoreline over the two legs.

Under the guidance of head coach Nora Hauptle, the senior women's team has enjoyed a remarkable resurgence, maintaining clean sheets in all their matches thus far.

In the second leg, held at the Accra Sports Stadium, Alice Kusi set the tone with a spectacular long-range strike from 25 yards to open the scoring.
