Maxwell Konadu has reportedly bid farewell to Nsoatreman FC, the Ghanaian club he led to a 5th place finish in the Premier League and a regional title, as he is set to join a South African side Black Leopards FC.

The former Black Stars manager's successful stint with Nsoatreman FC comes to an end as he looks to take on a new challenge in the South African top flight.

Under Konadu's guidance, Nsoatreman FC had a fairytale run in the Ghana Premier League, finishing 5th in their second season in the top flight and earning a spot in the 2024/25 CAF Confederations Cup. The team will have to wait until later this month for the draw to determine their opponents in the preliminary stage.

Konadu's departure marks an end to an era at Nsoatreman FC, but his legacy will live on after leading the team to their first-ever Ghana Premier League finish in the top five.

The former Asante Kotoko SC head coach also has experience of winning the Ghana Premier League during his time with the Porcupine Warriors.
